Wiles Studios – Salon Policies

Wiles Studios is dedicated to providing exceptional service for all of our guests.  In order for us to work effectively, we have to put a number of important policies in place.  We kindly ask that all our guests read, understand and adhere to our policies.

Pre-Payment Policy

We would like you to be aware that all guests will be asked to pay a deposit to secure their appointment slot.

Sadly, last-minute cancellations and no-shows have a significant impact on our business. If you do not show up for your appointment or do not give us at least 48 hours' notice, it becomes impossible for us to fill your appointment slot.   So, please do not be offended if we ask you to pre-pay for your service.  If you fail to show up or you cancel without giving the appropriate notice period, you will forfeit your deposit.

Those who have booked in for a Cleanse Cut & Finish will be asked to pay the full amount.  If booked in for a Colour service, we will ask you for a £50.00 deposit.

Cancellation Policy   

A minimum of 48 hours or two working days’ notice is required to re-schedule, cancel, or change services booked. If you fail to give 48 hours or two working days’ notice you will incur a cancellation fee of the full-service value and you will be required to make full pre-payment for your next appointment.  

Out of courtesy, you will receive a confirmation text message or an email 3 days prior to your appointment. It is always the client's responsibility to remember their appointment time and date and to update the salon with changes to their contact details.

Please Note: As the salon is closed on a Sunday and Monday and you wish to make any changes to a Tuesday or Wednesday appointment then you will need to contact us on the Saturday before the appointment.  Please do not leave a message on our answerphone on a Sunday or Monday as we will do not man the phones on these days so will not know that you plan to cancel. 

If we are given 48 hours' notice of your cancellation we can fill your appointment slot.  If we are not given enough notice, bear in mind that we cannot run our business effectively and our stylists lose out.  It has an impact on their revenue as their working hours will have to be reduced.  

Rebooking Discounts

Book your next appointment at Wiles Studios before you leave and we'll give you up to 20% off your next visit.  However, if you cancel or rearrange your rebooked appointment, or extend your rebooked appointment by a few weeks, we will be unable to honour your discount.  You also cannot use this discount in conjunction with any other offers or promotions. 

The 20% discount is available for:

Ladies who re-book in 10 weeks from their last appointment will receive 10% off
Ladies who re-book in 8 weeks from their last appointment will receive 15% off
Ladies who re-book in 6 weeks from their last appointment will receive 20% off

Hair Colour Allergy Alert Testing

If you haven't had a colour service at Wiles Studio or it's been more than six months since your last colour service with Wiles Studios then we will need to carry out an Allergy Alert Test (skin test) 48 hours prior to your service. This will only take a few moments of your time but is a manufacturer's requirement and therefore is essential if you're having a colour. After we have performed a skin test, we will be able to book your colour service appointment.
