Christian Wiles Named Finalist for Eastern Hairdresser of the Year 2026 British Hairdressing Awards
We're thrilled to share some exciting news – Christian Wiles, owner of Wiles Studios in Northampton, has been named a finalist in the Eastern Hairdresser of the Year category at HJ's 2026 British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.
This is an incredible achievement, especially given the exceptionally high standard of entries this year. The first round of judging took place on 20 July at Novotel London West, where more than 100 leading hairdressing experts came together to judge work across 18 specialist and regional categories.
Christian impressed the judges with his creativity, technical expertise and outstanding work in cutting, colouring and styling, earning his place among the country's most talented hairdressers.
The competition isn't over yet. Christian will now submit four brand-new photographic images for the second round of judging ahead of the prestigious awards ceremony, which takes place on Monday 23 November 2026 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London.
While this latest recognition is something to celebrate, Christian is no stranger to industry success. A multi-award-winning hairstylist, Matrix Educator and respected industry influencer, he is known for his innovative approach to hairdressing and his ability to combine creative artistry with wearable, commercial styles.
His impressive list of achievements includes Salon Business Ultimate Stylist of the Year, Hair Magazine Best Men's Hairdresser (twice), BHBA Male Grooming Salon of the Year (twice), AMBA International Barber of the Year, as well as multiple finalist places in the Creative Head Most Wanted Awards, Men's Hairdresser of the Year and now another British Hairdressing Awards Eastern Hairdresser of the Year nomination.
